By making the deposit/full payment for EXPANSION AL SOL, you are accepting the Terms and Conditions.

Please read this carefully so we are on the same page.

Deposit

A non-refundable deposit of 400$ is required to secure your spot. This deposit is applied toward your total tuition and is non-transferable.

ONLY when we have received your deposit can your reservation be confirmed. Due to high demand, we cannot hold down spots.

Photography

You’re absolutely welcome to take photos and videos throughout the retreat, and we’ll also have a photographer on-site — plus film cameras for you to document the slumber party properly.

To honor everyone’s boundaries, bodies, and comfort:

  • Please always ask for explicit consent from everyone in a photo or video before posting or sharing it publicly.

  • If you prefer not to be photographed or filmed at all, just let us know — no explanations needed, no problem whatsoever.

I’ll be using some of the retreat footage for promotion, social media, and future offerings. When you receive the shared folder with the retreat photos, please let me know if there’s any image of you that you don’t feel good about, and I’ll make sure it’s not used.

This is really important to me. A big part of this retreat is play, sensuality, self-expression, and performance, and that only works when everyone feels safe, respected, and fully sovereign in their yes and their no.

Cancellation by Guest

If you choose to cancel:

  • You are eligible for a 50% refund of all payments made (excluding the deposit) if your cancellation is received at least 60 days before the retreat start date.

  • No refunds will be issued for cancellations made within 60 days of the start date.

  • If you cannot attend, you may transfer your spot to another guest (from Expansion!) by notifying us in writing at least 21 days prior to the retreat start date. Note that it is up to you to “Resell” your retreat spot and we will not be responsible if you can’t transfer it.

  • If you need to cancel within 60 days of the retreat’s starting date, and you cannot transfer your spot, under no circumstance will there be any refunds given for cancellation requests made within 60 days of the starting date.

  • We will do our best to explore alternative options on a case-by-case basis. However, refunds are not guaranteed.

Sorry, but truly no exceptions.

Because we make significant, non-recoverable payments in advance to secure the venue, chef, and activities, all payments for this retreat are final and non-refundable. Exceptions cannot be made for any reason, including (but not limited to) weather, natural events, health conditions, medical, personal, family, or work-related circumstances, or a change of plans.

If you’re unable to attend due to unforeseen circumstances such as strikes, weather conditions, or delayed, missed, or cancelled flights, the retreat fees remain non-refundable. If you arrive late or need to leave early, we’re unable to offer refunds or discounts for any unused portion of your stay.

Please book only if you feel a grounded, full-body yes — this helps us hold the integrity and care of the experience for everyone involved.

Cancellation by Host

In the highly unlikely event that we need to cancel, you’ll be notified as soon as possible and will receive a full refund minus the deposit. If any changes to the retreat are required, we’ll communicate them promptly and transparently.

Please note that we’re not responsible for any personal expenses incurred in preparation for the retreat, including (but not limited to) flights, accommodation outside the retreat dates, loss of work, visa fees, or any other travel-related costs.

Travel, Visas and insurance

Please ensure your passport is valid for at least six months beyond the retreat dates, in accordance with international travel requirements.

We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance that includes:

  • Trip cancellation

  • Medical coverage

  • Emergency evacuation

  • Lost or damaged belongings

It is your responsibility to ensure you meet all visa, entry, health, and travel requirements for Greece or Morocco (depending on your retreat)

The retreat organizers cannot be held liable for illness, delays, missed flights, or additional costs incurred due to to failure to meet these requirements.

In case of an accident or incident the participant will claim against their individual travel insurance and not EXPANSION. Furthermore, you participate in the classes, hikes and trips at your own risk and you must employ your own judgment as to which movements, positions, and exercises are appropriate for your level of training, overall physical fitness and experience as well as mental stability!

This retreat is not therapy

As always, Expansion, and this retreat is not a replacement for therapy. While deep emotions, insights, or memories may arise, we do not offer trauma treatment or psychological care.

Participants are responsible for tending to their own emotional and nervous system needs throughout the experience, and for seeking additional support outside the retreat if needed.

You are always encouraged to move at your own pace, opt out of any activity, and prioritize your sense of safety and self-regulation at all times.

Listening to your body, your boundaries, and your capacity is an essential part of this work.

Consent and release

By registering, you voluntarily agree to the following:

I understand that participation in retreat activities may involve physical movement and requires a general level of health and fitness. I acknowledge that I am responsible for assessing my own physical capacity and any risks associated with movement practices, somatic work, hiking, workshops, or any optional activities offered.

By registering, I understand that this retreat requires significant, non-recoverable payments in advance, and therefore my booking represents a committed reservation.

I understand that I am eligible for a 50% refund of payments made (excluding the deposit) only if my cancellation is received at least 60 days prior to the retreat start date. No refunds will be issued for cancellations made within 60 days, for any reason.

I understand that I may transfer my spot to another Expansion alum by notifying the organizers in writing at least 21 days prior to the retreat start date, and that it is my responsibility to resell or transfer my spot.

I acknowledge that all payments are final and non-refundable in cases including, but not limited to, illness, personal or family emergencies, work conflicts, weather events, travel disruptions, or changes of plans. I understand that arriving late or leaving early does not qualify for any refund.

I agree to book only if I feel a grounded, full-body yes, understanding that this commitment supports the integrity and care of the experience for all participants.

I, along with my heirs and legal representatives, waive and release the organizers from all liability for injuries, damages, or death resulting from participation in retreat activities—both on and off the retreat property—and agree to hold them harmless from any related claims or expenses.

I understand that the organizers reserve the right to accept or decline any application, and to adjust the retreat itinerary if necessary for the comfort, safety, or best interest of the group.

If the retreat is cancelled or postponed by the organizers and cannot be rescheduled, their responsibility is limited to refunding payments made by participants. They are not responsible for additional costs such as flights, travel delays, or other external expenses.

I acknowledge that the organizers are not liable for delays, missed flights, rescheduling, cancellations, overbooking, loss or damage to personal property, illness, injury, or any expenses arising from acts or omissions of third-party providers.

I understand that I am personally responsible for any damage I cause to the retreat center, accommodations, furnishings, or facilities during my stay, and I agree to cover any related repair or replacement costs incurred as a result of my actions.

I understand that this retreat includes somatic, embodiment, creative, and reflective practices that may bring up emotional or psychological material. I acknowledge that I am responsible for my own emotional well-being and integration before, during, and after the retreat.

I understand that the organizers are not providing medical, psychological, or therapeutic treatment, and participation does not replace professional care.

I acknowledge that the retreat is a personal development and experiential offering, not a medical or therapeutic program. No guarantees or claims are made regarding healing, outcomes, or results.

If alcohol is available during the retreat, I understand that participation is entirely optional and that I am solely responsible for my own choices, consumption, and well-being.

I understand that the organizers reserve the right to remove any participant from the retreat, without refund, if their behavior is deemed disruptive, unsafe, or not aligned with the values of consent, respect, and collective care upheld within the retreat space.

I understand that photos and video may be captured throughout the retreat for promotional or educational purposes.
